As an International Student at NUAA: My Career Plan After Graduation

Hello , My name is Natzaree Hamingma I'm a first year at AI major in NUAA

As a first-year student majoring in Artificial Intelligence at NUAA, I may not have worked on big projects yet, but I already have a clear goal—I want to build a career in coding, especially in cybersecurity.

The more I learn about how technology shapes our world, the more I’m drawn to how we can protect digital systems and data from threats. Cybersecurity is a growing field that needs smart, ethical, and skilled professionals, and I’m excited to work toward becoming one of them.

Even though I’m still early in my academic journey, studying in an international environment like NUAA is shaping me to become a future professional. I’ve been developing important skills like coding logic, problem-solving, and communication—especially through working with classmates from different countries. Living and studying abroad has also helped me become more independent, adaptable, and globally minded.

In the coming years, I look forward to getting involved in projects, internships, and certifications that will prepare me for a future in cybersecurity. This is just the beginning, and I’m ready to keep learning and growing step by step.
