OUR ACHIVEMENTS
The Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (NUAA) has made significant strides in aerospace engineering since its. In 2014, the university produced three innovative unmanned ornithopters, showcasing its commitment to cutting-edge technology. By 2016, a team of NUAA engineering students triump in the 33rd Annual American Helicopter Society Student Design Competition, further solidifying its reputation in the field. Notably, the NUAA Innovation Center played a crucial role in the development of AG600, the world's largest amphibious aircraft, which successfully completed its first test flight in 2017, reflecting the university's continuous contribution to the advancement of unmanned aerial vehicles and aerospace research.
COLLEGE OF INTERNATIONAL EDUCATION
Since 2005, our university has embraced the opportunity to welcome international students, marking a significant step by setting up College of International Education. The first cohort of full-time international undergraduates, majoring in Engineering arrived from over 126 countries and regions of the world. we proudly graduated over 4000 international students in fields like Aircraft Maintenance ,Aeronautical Engineering Aerospace Engineering, International Business, Mechanical Engineering, and Software Engineering artificial Intelligence. Today, vibrant community includes more than 2500 undergraduate international from 129 diverse countries, enriching our campus with their unique perspectives and experiences.
INTRODUCTION
Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (NUAA, 南京航空航天大学) is a public university in Nanjing, Jiangsu, China. It is affiliated with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. The university is part of Project 211 and the Double First-Class Construction.
NUAA offers a wide range of programs including 46 undergraduate programs, 127 master programs and 52 doctoral programs. 2 first grade and 9 second grade disciplines are awarded national key disciplines. The former includes Aerospace Science & Technology and Mechanics. The latter includes Aircraft Design, Aerospace Propulsion Theory & Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering of Aerospace Vehicle, Man-Machine and Environmental Engineering, General and Fundamental Mechanics, Solid Mechanics, Fluid Mechanics, Engineering Mechanics, Mechanical Manufacture & Automation. 8 disciplines are key disciplines of the Commission of National Defense Science, Technology and Industry, such as Tele-Communication & Information Systems, Technology of Micro Air Vehicles, etc. 10 disciplines are key disciplines of Jiangsu Province, such as Mechanical Design and Theory, Navigation Guidance & Control, etc. 4 disciplines such as Aircraft Design, Mechanical Manufacture & Automation, Engineering Mechanics, Manufacturing Engineering of Aerospace Vehicle are especially set up for "Changjiang Scholar Award" professors. Besides, NUAA has set up 12 postdoctoral programs, such as Aerospace Science & Technology, etc
