Studying at Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (NUAA) has been more than just a university experience for me – it’s been a foundation for my future career. I came to NUAA to prepare myself for the global business world, which I know it can be complicated and tough. As an International Business student, I’ve always been interested in the global economic market growth, how companies deal with cultural differences when operating internationally, and how people from different cultures collaborate to help companies expand globally. Over time, I’ve realized that learning about these topics from books alone is far from enough, I need real experiences and opportunities to understand more about them. It needs a combination of theory and practical things. That’s exactly what I’ve been getting here at NUAA.

🚀 Career Goals After Graduation

After completing my studies at NUAA, I plan to work in international business development. I want to join a team that helps companies grow internationally, build cross-cultural partnerships, and explore new markets. After I gain many experiences, I hope to work at a multinational corporation, while starting my own business that focuses on cross-border commerce. I’ve noticed strong potential for partnerships between China and Southeast Asia countries, such as Indonesia. This can be seen through digital trade and e-commerce, which are growing fast between these countries.

💼 How NUAA is Shaping Me to be a Future Professional

NUAA supports and helps me to be a future professional in my career. This university has prepared me for my business career by providing subjects that are crucial for business, such as Microeconomics, Statistics, Management, and many more. Not only theory, they invite students to understand real-world business examples, such as by understanding the growth strategies of companies around the world. Before diving into these core subjects, NUAA also provided foundation courses like basic mathematics, which helped me build the essential skills to understand more advanced topics later on. These fundamental subjects gave me the confidence to understand the global market and key business concepts, especially in finance. NUAA offers me several chances to pursue my career within a year by:

• Work on international case studies related to businesses with classmates from different countries, which can develop critical thinking ability.

• Learn principles in economics and management, which are an important foundation in business.

• Learn the Chinese language, one of the world's most important languages right now.

NUAA gave me more than a degree – it gave me perspective, purpose, and preparation for my future career. I’ve learned how to make decisions, solve problems, and speak up in unfamiliar settings. NUAA has played an important role in my life.
