Shaping My Future: A Student Journey at NUAA
As an international student at NUAA studying Mechanical Engineering, I’m building the foundation for a career that blends engineering and design. My goal is to first work in fields like product design, aerospace, or automotive engineering, and later continue my education in architecture—something I’ve always been passionate about.
NUAA not only gave me technical skills like AutoCAD and programming but also the soft skills of communication and teamwork. In addition to that, the strong work ethic that I see among Chinese students pushes me to work even more diligently every day.
I look forward to interning in the automotive and design sectors, working my way through and learning creative applications of engineering. Living in China has also been eye-opening. Going to school with kids from all over the world showed me how important cultural sensitivity is in all facets of life.
Within the next 5–10 years, I see myself as a seasoned innovator—fusing global wisdom, engineering expertise, and design thinking. With great communication skills and a strong desire to keep learning, I hope to own my own design firm one day and build an enduring legacy.
