I am a guy from Uzbekistan who wanted to study at China from his childhood. My that dream came true. i am an international student of NUAA batch 2024. i study bachelors of economics here, my major is International Business. I’m already mapping my path beyond graduation—a hybrid career blending corporate expertise and entrepreneurship. Here’s my vision, the skills I need to hone, and how NUAA’s ecosystem can propel me forward.
Phase 1: Academic & Internship Foundations (2024–2028)
- Bachelor’s Focus: Strengthening core skills in trade laws, supply chains, and data analysis at NUAA.
- Internship Targets:
- Export-Import Specialist: Interning at a Chinese multinational (e.g., COSCO, Alibaba’s cross-border team) to master logistics and compliance.
-E-Commerce: Joining a Shenzhen-based e-commerce firm to learn global digital trade tactics.
-Skill Gaps to Fill: Advanced Excel/Python for data, Mandarin negotiation fluency, and BRI market research.
Phase 2: Master’s Specialization (2026–2028)
-Program Focus: Economics or Export-Import Management (targeting top EU/China universities like HSBC Business School or Erasmus Mundus).
-Thesis Goal:“Digital Silk Road: Optimizing SME E-Commerce Exports”*—combining my NUAA base with new research.
Phase 3: Hybrid Career Launch (2028–2030)
- Corporate Role: Export-Import Specialist or E-Commerce Manager at a Sino-European firm, leveraging my dual academic background.
- Side Hustle: Launching a consultancy helping SMEs navigate China-EU trade (scaling to a full firm by 2030).
