Studying abroad is often described as life-changing, and my time as an international student at Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (NUAA) has been no exception. Beyond gaining a deep academic understanding of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, this journey has transformed me personally and professionally. Now, as I look ahead, I’m excited to share my career plan and how NUAA is shaping me to make a meaningful impact.

Returning Home to Make a Difference

After completing my studies, I plan to return to my home country and work in the Machine Learning development sector of the banking industry. Why banking? Because I believe the future of financial services depends heavily on digital transformation—making them safer, more efficient, and accessible to all.

The banking system is the backbone of any economy, and I want to be part of the team that leverages AI to improve how it works. From enhancing fraud detection and risk management to personalizing customer services and automating routine tasks, AI holds incredible potential to revolutionize this field. My goal is to help build a smarter, more inclusive financial ecosystem that supports growth and empowers people.

My time at NUAA has been instrumental in shaping the professional I am becoming. Of course, the technical skills I’ve developed—machine learning algorithms, data analytics, and AI applications—are fundamental.
